The Kingshead
The closest place to eat out, the Kingshead is a delightful pub just a few minutes down the road. Situated opposite Llangennith chucrch, this dog-friendly pub serves food all day every day and offers a great selection of ales from the Gower brewery

King arthur hotel
Serving food and drinks all day, every day, the King Arthur Hotel is located in the heart of the Gower in the pretty village of Reynoldston. Approx 10 minute drive from Hillside farm.

the britannia inn
Based in the nearby village of Llanmadoc, its approx a 5-minute drive to 'The Brit'. There is a cosy bar and also a restaurant serving delicious seasonal menus. The pub garden to the rear offers wonderful views over the estuary and a play area to occupy the kids.

Pj's surf shop
Gower offers some of the best surf in Britain. With Llangennith beach just a short distance from the campsite, why not try a spot of surfing? PJ's is the best place to hire your equipment with a wide range of surfboard's, boogie boards and wetsuits. Its located in the village between the church and Kingshead pub.
Hillside farm tour
A short 1-hour tour of the fields around the tents with an explanation of the farm and livestock. Tours run during school holidays only on Saturdays and Wednesdays at 10am.

Perriswood
A family run activity centre with fantastic views over Oxwich bay. Try your hand at Archery, shooting or meet the resident's birds of prey with a falconry experience. A great day out for the family, approx 15 minutes drive from the campsite.

The Gower peninsula & the surrounding area offers many historic castles which are definitely worth a visit. Nearby you will find Woebley castle on the North of the Gower coast, to the south coast you will find pennard & Oxwich castle.
